Ranelagh is a village located within Dublin city. This is a buzzing community, with the friendly feel of a village just moments away from the city centre. A 15 minute stroll will have you right in the heart of the action in Dublin’s city centre – or jump on the LUAS (5 mins) or let us grab you a cab. That, of course, is if you’d like to leave Ranelagh. There’s lots on offer here – great shops, gorgeous pubs, lovely cafes, nice parks and plenty more besides. Check out our map.

By car you can travel to The Devlin via the city centre or the M50 toll bridge. At peak times we recommend going via the M50 toll bridge as traffic is generally lighter. Parking : • Carpark is for hotel residents only and available only for the duration of their stay • Spaces available from 2pm on day of check-in up to 12.30pm on the day of check-out • Overnight charge of €15 euro per car will be added to your room bill • Carpark is located a short distance from the hotel • Please ring (01) 4066550 on morning of arrival for access and directions to carpark. (Due to limited spaces, we cannot reserve them in advance) • Cars are parked entirely at owners risk. The management/owners of The Devlin accept no liability for damage, accident or loss to the vehicle or its contents.

There is a taxi rank at the airport just outside the main door of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. You can easily get a taxi from here day or night and it generally costs approximately €25.00/€30.00 depending on traffic.

The Airlink 757 serves the south side of Dublin City and goes to Charlotte Way and Harcourt Street (close to the green Luas line and Dean Dublin), with stops at Grand Canal Dock, Pearse Street, Merrion Square and St. Stephen’s Green. Buses run every 20 minutes and with tickets at €7 for a single or €12 return.

The Green Line Luas serves Ranelagh from Sandyford to Stephen’s Green. There are two local stops that are easy walking distance from The Devlin, Beechwood (4-6 mins walk) and Ranelagh (10-12 mins walk)

Dublin Bus provide an extensive local bus service to Dublin City and its suburbs and surrounds. Ranelagh Road is served by the No. 44 and 61 buses. The no. 44 runs from Enniskerry to DCU via Dundrum, Ranelagh, Dawson St & O’Connell St. The no. 61 runs from Eden Quay to Whitechurch via Earlsfort Terrace and Merrion Square. There are also many other bus routes that pass nearby on Ranelagh Village, Rathmines Road, Leeson Street and Camden Street.

Our guaranteed check-in is at 4pm. If you arrive earlier, we’re happy to store your luggage so you’re free to explore. Just ask our team. If you’d like to check-in earlier, please drop us a line in advance and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you.

This is The Stella Cinema Rathmines’ little sister with 42 seats, located on our lower ground floor. Our screenings are focused on cult classics and art house favourites. The cinema space is also available for private hire, functions, screenings or meetings. Sit back, relax, order a drink from our dedicated bar and get hooked to the silver screen. Just a stroll away is the original Stella Cinema, Rathmines – with The Stella Cocktail Club and Stella Diner, this is a movie and food lovers dream.
